Xu Bei is an upcoming Chinese –born American Jazz musician. She began to devoting all of her energies to jazz after she located to New York City, Where she started to take professional Jazz training lesson by well-known Jazz pianist Charles Sibirsky and Gorge Axiltree. Her versatile musical talent attracted the interest of Universal Music, who signed Xu Bei in 2006; and then released her debut album in Japan in the initial period. The self-titled debut album “Xu Bei ” which including timeless love songs and classic Chinese pop songs《你怎么舍得我难过》and 《明天你是否依然爱我》, Eventually the album led her become the new sensational star in Japan . Meanwhile, she had 2 amazing shows in Tokyo and Yokohama in April 2006. Her second studio album “Lost In Translation” released by Universal Music in January 2007 , like her previous album, “ Lost In Translation “ was commercially successful and critically acclaimed and maintains glamorous, fashionable style , The album also garnered praise and widespread attention from world-class superstars such as James Morrison, John Legend and James Blunt, who commented that “The melodic notes are shining made by Voice of Bei Xu”. “ Lost In translation ” featured “ Melody ” ( David Tao’s well-known single ) and “ A happy new year “ which has been downloads over 100,000 times on ITUNES , In addition to that , the album had reached the top 2 of Japan’s Pop album chart and peaked at # 1 on the Japan’s album chart (日本歌曲专辑榜) . 4 of songs from the album had also made the top 10 on the Japan’s Hot Singles Charts . She constantly on tour after releasing their album in 2007 , She was also often invited to new conferences and Culture showcases in China by world-class branding companies .
