It took them two years to find each other. The city has been training them. And when they finally met late in 2007 they knew the mix was right. The Dovetail Joints are a perfect mesh of pop sensibilities and rock flair. They play highly original music, with choruses that have a nasty habit of getting stuck in your head for days on end. The Dovetail Joints are all veterans of the Shanghai scene. Becca has performed both as a solo singer/songwriter and with a band for many years, both here and in the U.S.A. Her sensuous voice added to this experience easily allows her lead the band. Sandro, Knut and Adam form a more-than-able backing band. They have all played in several bands including The Georgia Sam Blues Band, The Jimi Graham Band and Minjian Funk (民间饭客-昆明), and they continue to play together as The Cardinals. This enormous combination of talents and personalities makes hearing The Dovetail Joints a truly memorable experience.
