With the absence of the MIDI festival in Shanghai, S.T.D. thought it would only fair for us poor little Shanghai kids that we got at least a taste...so we went out and got the MIDI headliners, Hopper.

These Parisians skillfully weave indie, rock and folk together in a myriad of sounds and striking vocal lines. Hopper have recently worked with the acclaimed Ryan Hadlock (Soundgarden, Blonde Redhead, The Gossip, Foo Fighters) and have opened for the likes of Cold Ware Kids, Fun Lovin Criminals as well as playing alongside Arcade Fire, Pixies and Franz Ferdinand at Rock En Seine. They will be playing for thousandzzzz of people in Beijing MIDI, they will be playing for you and your friends in Shanghai.

Something we can offer that MIDI festival does not have, is a sweet organized and thrusting after party. STDJ's will be tearing up THE freshest electric jizz to hit anyone's face straight after Hopper and you can expect it all night. Doors 10pm. Tickets 30rmb. Come Unprotected.
