Junior Engineering Concepts & Applications Workshop is suitable for children aged 3 to 5. The foundations of basic engineering are explored in a fun and creative environment where children develop motor and problem-solving skills and spatial abilities while playing with Lego Duplo educational products or participating in mini-craft projects. Concepts covered include gears, pulleys, levers and motion. The course is also of use to parents who would like to expose their children to spend time in an English language environment. A Junior Engineering Workshop will normally involve building a model and modifying it with the instructor, followed by a short craft activity or game.

This workshop is one hour in length per class from 11:30am to 12:30pm, as well as from 2:45pm to 3:45pm in our Hongqiao center, and from 2:45pm to 3:45pm, as well as from 4pm to 5pm in our Pudong center starting any Saturday afternoon. Each 10 hours workshop costs Rmb 1,750 per child as member's rate, and Rmb 2,250 per child as non-member's rate. The annual membership fee containing complimentary fun Parents and Child Workshops three times per year, and attractive membership benefits costs Rmb 1,000 per family per year. Teacher ratio is 1:5, and please make a seat reservation at 6446 6766 (Hongqiao) or 5033 3053 (Pudong) in advance.
