On site from 26 – 28 June 2008 RMB 500 per ticket
Tickets purchased will include an exclusive gift valued at RMB 100.
Student Price RMB 50 per ticket (Students should produce Student Pass on site to collect the ticket)

ATP--If you're a journalist, then I don't think the entrance fee is really an issue for you as all media get in for free.
For most people who would find this event interesting, I'd be willing to bet that you fall into one of the categories we define as design-related trade--architect, interior designer, journalist, gallerist, hotel development, hospitality, event management, etc--the umbrella is quite broad.
I'd say the entrance fee requirement will apply to 10% of the people attending the show--those people who are in very different professions--who really want to attend the show.
Also, 100% Design Shanghai is not largely supported by the public--it is supported 95% by the design companies who participate in the exhibition. So it is our duty to keep the crowd as professional as possible.
If you feel like you'd really to attend the show and that you don't fall into any of our so-called trade categories, and feel like the entrance fee, or the student fee (50RMB) is too high for you, please email me directly at andrewyang@aol.com. I am particularly interested in an event such as this--for both professional (as journalist) and personal (general interest) reasons.
However, at RMB 500 entrance, I really think that the person/s behind this particular show in SH ought to stop trying to get the public to support his/their dependancy on illegal substances!!
This price is unnecessarily high--and a downright rip off.
Is this event sponsored by Reed, or someone or some other organisation under the aegis of Reed ie. a private deal?
