"When painting flowers, warmth and love and women emerge in my mind," says artist Li Haifeng. " In senior high school, physical development scared us. When I was young, love was frowned upon. I was too introverted to release my depressed thoughts and feelings. I love flowers, especially beautiful flowers. The flowers I paint record emotions I suppressed as a young man." --Issue 13, Explain Your Art
