Le Royal Meridien Shanghai’s Cantonese Ai Mei Chinese Restaurant launches new “Shanghai Old Station” cuisine month from 01 June 2008 till end of the month, offering a wide selection of shanghai native dishes with a home taste.
The highlights of the Shanghai dishes from Master Chef Peter Cheung include cold dishes like Deep-fried pork ribs with sweet and vinegar sauce; Green soy bean in Shanghainese wine; Boiled chopped chicken, etc and for hot dishes, there are Braised pork with home-style; Braised Hui Fish with shallot in soy sauce; Stir-fried bamboo fungus and asparagus with crab roe; Braised bean curd ball with mushroom; Stir-fried rice cake with green vegetables, Steamed noodle with shallot oil, Pan-fried minced pork dumplings and Steamed pork and crab dumplings, etc. Guests can also enjoy the home taste dessert like Eight treasures rice; Glutinous rice dumpling with rice wine soup to round off the dinner with a sweet note.
Priced from RMB 18 till RMB 88 per dish, the new “Shanghai Old Station” a la carte menu will be available in Ai Mei Chinese Restaurant during lunch (10:30 a.m. – 02:30 p.m.) and dinner (05:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.), with no service charge applied. Ai Mei Chinese Restaurant is located on Level 8 of the Le Royal Meridien Shanghai.
