Once upon a time in this children’s play adapted from an African folk story, when the sky was very low, there were human beings living both on the ground and on the sky. When the humans on the ground were hungry, they could simply reach into the sky and harvest food. But when they became too greedy, the sky lifted high and away, preventing them from gathering food.
