Playing Jazz Standards with World Music Rhythms (cEdriC hanRiot)

Cedric will instruct how to put a new twist into the old jazz standard favorites by adding such rhythms as Afro-Cuban, Gnwana (North African), and Mazurka (Polish) into the mix.

Cedric was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to major in Professional Music at Berkeley College and completed a Music Degree at the Metz Conservatoire National de Region where he was awarded the prestigious "Piano Gold Medal".

Cedric has collaborated professionally with such jazz luminaries as Dean Bowman, Jim Lopez, Jean Gobinet, Benoit Vanderstraeten, Umberto Pagnini, not to mention local legend, Coco Zhao, and leads the progressive jazz fusion band, FrogNstein.
