Buzz is based on many factors; most have to do with how much activity the item has caused on the site. Here are some easy tips to get Buzz higher:

• Most importantly, make your content as interesting as you can so others do the same

Friday 1st August – The Shelter Foundation

20RMB Entry – All proceeds go to charity

Once a month The Shelter will host ‘The Shelter Foundation’. Representatives from each of the DJ crews will come together to form a musical showcase of the different events in The Shelter that month. There will be a door charge of 20 RMB, which will be put into an account and saved up in periods of 3 months and after each 3 month period will all be given to charity. All the DJs will play for free and will also contribute 20 rmb to the fund, as will all the staff of The Shelter (even the Ayi!!). We would like to split the money into 3 parts, one part to give to a charity for disadvantaged children, one for the environment and one for the local music scene.
