We are escaping Shanghai for a quiet and beautiful fall October holiday on Chongming island from Sept 27th to 30th.

Chongming Island is China's third largest island and is only 45 km from downtown Shanghai. Chongming consists of European style farms and country lanes, fishing villages and China's largest bird sanctuary. A wonderful 5-star hotel makes this retreat a "must" for anyone looking to escape the hectic city of Shanghai.

Transportation is by private coach. Lodging is a 5 star on a large wildlife preserve with plenty of fresh air sightseeing, walking and cycling. Food and activities include a native village cookout and DongPing park visit.
