Among hopeful minstrels and would-be bards, some fortunate musicians rise to the height of musical achievement while some very few manage to create and inspire an art form themselves. The Romeros have done both. Founded by the legendary guitarist Celedonio Romero, The Romeros guitar quartet has encompassed three generations and consistently inspired composers to enrich the repertoire of guitar quartets within orchestras. Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Celedonio's sons Pepe and Celin will lead the third generation, Lito and Celino, in the concert "Classical Guitar Royal Family," a presentation of 12 of their signature scores.
