A not-for-profit event set for January every year, JUE | MUSIC | ART will present an inspiring mix of music & art across multiple venues in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
International DJ & MC crew South Rakkas bring their critically acclaimed blend of dancehall and electro to China for two nights of inspired mixing and mashing. South Rakkas will be joined by local dancehall and dub sensations Uprooted Sunshine.
South Rakkas Crew (SRC) was founded by producer Dennis 'Dow Jones' Shaw in late 2002. Dow Jones teamed up with Alex G creating what is proving to be one of the hottest Dancehall and Electro music production teams today.
They have become known as Dancehall's most innovative producers, bringing a fresh new sound which has been called Electro-Dancehall. Dow Jones has another alias, “King of the cut,” given to him by some of Jamaica's biggest producers, for South Rakkas’ ability to 'chop up', and rearrange songs creating new and exciting mixes.
