A selection of posters designed in 2008 by Shanghai based Brazilian graphic designer Bruno Porto. The pieces were created to promote Brazilian visual arts events in Asia -­ like the Brazilian Film Week in Hanoi and a lecture by master-cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa in Shanghai ­- or as visual comment on a variety of news that range from the Tibet riots to the 2008 Olympics to movies based on comic book characters.

Two hours before the opening, at 5 p.m., Porto will host a guided tour of the exhibition “Dingbats Brasil” at The Foundry (End of Lane 729, Shanxi Bei Road, x Kang Ding Road), which is just around the corner.
