Cloudy Bay Tasting, Homage to Captain Cook
Captain Cook commanded and barked the Endeavour to set sail for the Pacific in search for the mysterious and elusive "southern continent." After two years at the sea, he arrived in New Zealand in 1770, and later renamed the eastern extremity of the Wairau Valley, Cloudy Bay. This essentially was the prelude for Cloudy Bay Vineyards; establishing in 1985, invested by Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), and now known for superior wines. Join us as we learn how Cloudy Bay achieved international recognition, and why New Zealand has been at the fore front of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noirs. Come set sail to Justgrapes as we bring the elusive Cloudy Bay to you and taste their renowned Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and one of our favorites, late harvest Reisling...of course paired with a three course meal. This is not to miss!
