Dark Beer Lovers, This month is belong to Chimay Blue, Belgian Strong Dark Ale style beer from Bières de chimay.This 9% ABV beer does not seem to be that high in alcohol. This is a strong beer with spicy and fruity notes more than anything. It is sweet at first and balances to a very mild bitter and slightly dry mouthfeel. There are quite a few complexities in there, so you might have to go get another bottle before you start to figure out what’s going on.
