This fourth of July, Shanghaiist has teamed up with Boxing Cat Brewery to celebrate America's Independence Day.

We'll have cheap-but-delicious Boxing Cat barbecue, hearty-and-heartening Boxing Cat brews, live music playing the best American tunes, and a host of other fun things to do!

Besides the live music, drinks and BBQ, we're also planning on hosting a charity raffle and a "charity drinking relay." The event will last from noon to 6pm on Saturday, July 4. Entry is 50RMB and includes a drink.

The Drinking Relay: Up to 16 teams (with five people per team) participate in a charity drinking relay. Each team picks a charity they want to sponsor - charities can help put together their team of drinkers beforehand. Their entry fee of 100RMB per head goes into a pot. The teams face off against each other, until only one is left. That team wins the pot for whichever charity they decided to sponsor.

Charity drinking team registration price: 100RMB per person, 5 people per team

Raffle Tickets: 25RMB per ticket, 200RMB for 10 tickets. All proceeds go to the drinking relay team charities. Win great prizes!
