Have you ever dreamed of living in the monastery? We are now making your dream come true.
Monastery retreat is a great way to escape from rush hour, back-to back-meetings, and those late nights at the office. The main benefit to a monastery stay is a sense of calm, balance, and perspective.
We will all live the monastery life, eat a light breakfast and, in keeping with this monastic tradition, the daily meal (vegetarian) is eaten before noon and in late afternoon. We will practice noble silence, morning and evening chanting, sitting and walking meditation, and have heart talks with the monks.
Shousheng Monastery is located in Changxing town, Zhejiang province. The monastery is settled in the peaceful surrounding, amidst the mountains. A great getaway and chance to soak up the rays and enjoy the fresh country air.
