Hannah Montana, an original Disney Channel series starring actress/singer Miley Cyrus, will be airing on International Channel Shanghai (ICS) during the summer of 2009 for the third time! The show focuses on a girl living a double life as an ordinary teenage student named Miley Stewart by day, and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana by night. She conceals her true identity from the public, apart from a few close friends and family. Season Three of Hannah Montana shows a progression of the characters. Hannah's style changes as she matures. The thirty episodes of Season Three will be screened in English with Chinese subtitles, and will include brief commentary to explain American idioms, humor, and culture. Season Three premiered on November 2, 2008 in the US, and is still airing as of July 2009. ICS has made a great effort in presenting this season almost simultaneously with America.
