BRAINFEEDER is a bold new platform launching a cutting-edge breed of artists and mad show stoppers. Having started around 2007 as a close collaboration between FLYING LOTUS and QUES, this label/artists collective has since garnered a reputation for releasing possibly the most progressive music coming out of the USA at the moment.

Having taken audiences by storm in LA, San Francisco, New York, London and Barcelona in previous editions, the event is now taking root in China, developing over 3 months, presenting a musical revolution with a beginning, middle and an exceptional end beyond your imagination …

The party kicks off with SAMIYAM dropping the best in unorthodox electronic sounds which will serve as on-the-spot inspiration to QUES’ improvised self-styled graffiti made LIVE. The two friends will be performing side-by-side under the People’s Square purple sky to bring y’all musical elevation at its best.

SAMIYAM (Live Set)
SAMIYAM is an irreverent doughnut lover who cooks up suspended-in-time hip hop beats filled with snippets of soul, funk, 70s Italian horror film soundtracks, Nintendo bonus level music and 90s hip hop. Pounding out his beats live on the Roland SP-404 digital sampler, he creates instrumental tracks that click and stutter like scratchy vinyl at half speed.
