Description

Outline of "Park Shanghai" It's Dong's last day in Shanghai before his three-year job transfer to the southern city of Shenzhen, where a grueling daily commute to Hong Kong awaits him. He attends an alumni party held in a karaoke bar. In half a day, inside one building, Dong weaves in and out of two different parties and meets his former girlfriend Rerei. The sleepless night makes all of characters reflect on the choices they ever made in their lives. There is no regret to allow.

An attitude of blind acceptance with cultural and economic mores predicates all the characters' actions, and although they are depicted with much compassion and emotion towards one another, it is this thick layer of blind faith in doing what they are taught and told that almost makes them unlikable.
