The city's most popular lounge crooner Frank Bray and the Shanghai All Stars band are to start performances from 8pm in the New Year at the lavish venue reviving the fun and fantasy of Shanghai’s high-kicking 1930s heyday.

Frank's mix of jazz, blues and classic Vegas crooning in the style of the legendary Frank Sinatra, backed by the Shanghai All Stars’ live band, have become eagerly anticipated acts at the 'Nouveau Victorian" venue presenting an intoxicating mix of cabaret, vaudeville and Broadway.

"Frank Bray is the greatest lounge singer in the world today, I bet you will be impressed by his truly amazing voice!" Norman Gosney, founder of CHINATOWN said.

'Showtime' is now going to start half an hour earlier than usual from January 6, in response to public demand for the unique combination of floorshows, stunning showgirls, extravagant costumes and high-class tipples.

CHINATOWN shows are from Wednesday-Saturday, with the venue available for private events and functions, including entertainment by Frank Bray, the band and the supporting cast, from Sunday-Tuesday.

Frank Bray and the Shanghai All Star band headed by jazz trumpeter J.Q. Whitcomb are both also available for guest performances elsewhere in Shanghai for corporate functions and private events based on application. New Yorker Frank is beloved for classic Vegas crooning in the style of the legendary Frank Sinatra. After 20 years in New York City, Frank started his Euro and Asian performance network at the 5 star Movenpick Hotel and Casino in Geneva Switzerland. He has just performed in HongKong at a high end event for Tiffanys which was a enormous success. Trumpeter J.Q. was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and played a variety of musical genres including reggae, funk, classical, ska, and jazz. Contact +86 21 6258 2078 for more details.
