From now until the end of February, the “Chinese Private Rooms” on the 86th floor of Park Hyatt Shanghai will offer delicious Chinese New Year set menus for those family gatherings. Priced from CNY300 per person for lunch and CNY500 for dinner (minimum booking from 8 people), guests will enjoy dishes that reflect fresh flavours and traditional, original cooking methods. In Chinese tradition, the dishes “Steamed Leopard Garoupa” and “Steamed Tiger Garoupa” mean “more luck to come”, while the dishes “King Prawns” and “Deep-Fried Crispy Chicken” mean “flourishing fortune”. Such high-end ingredients as Australian abalone and shark’s fin mean “riding on the crest of success”. Desserts in both Chinese and Western styles will be served at the end of the meal implying a sweet and joyful new year ahead. Our culinary team will be more than happy to hear any suggestions from guests concerning creating a personalised menu for each family.
In addition to lunch or dinner, guests will have more private space to enjoy a family gathering as Park Hyatt Shanghai will offer the entire 86th floor for a whole-day function. With the city view as a backdrop, the space can be set up for family activities, from playing Wii games on the 102 inches plasma TV screen to singing on your own stage … all aimed at giving you and your family the perfect way to celebrate this festive season.
