Abraham Carmona will present this brand new class which teaches essential Compas rhythms (the rhythms that Flamenco music is structured around) and also how to play Flamenco music together with others in a group. Guitar, palmas, vocal, bass, wind, brass and percussion students are more than welcome.
The class is suitable for any musicians (practicing or aspiring) interested in learning and integrating complex rhythms such as Alegria, Buleria, Tentos, Tango, Rumba, Solea, Seguidilla, Tarantos, Rondena and Fandangos into their own music.
In the open class Abraham will decide how to arrange the ongoing classes, absolute beginners may take up a beginner Compas option, while intermediate learners who have some background in Compas will be offered the Intermediate Compas/Ensemble Class.
The open class will be at JZ School on Sunday February 28th at 11AM.
