Andy Smith was the first DJ to release a multi-genre mix album on a major label. When his mix-CD The Document hit the streets back in 1998, it became the soundtrack for a generation who had heard Coldcut's Journeys By DJs but needed to hear more - The Document filled the void. Smith went on to make a name for himself as Portishead's international tour DJ and release a string of other Document albums. Support comes from the Lab Crew and DJ Mick. RMB60

Quality control is proud to bring you one of the illest producers and DJs from the UK, DJ Andy Smith. We have been waiting for this moment for more than a year, and on March 5th we will witness his debut show at the Shelter. Get ready to funk it up!
We will also have a another very special guest, one of the dopest local-based DJs, DJ Mick. You might have seen him DJing at all the big fancy clubs in Shanghai, but he will turn himself into a real hip-hop warrior, so prepare yourselves for this serious double attack.
