Born in Durban and exiled to Botswana in the mid-’70s for his participation in South Africa’s liberation movement against the apartheid, Langa uses his writing to raise awareness of the political injustices occurring there. He has written four novels, including the popular Lost Colours of the Chameleon, all of which focus on political tension and corruption. He has won a number of international awards for his fiction.
