Void present: Inigo Kennedy
Last time he was here (2009, also for VOID) UK DJ Inigo Kennedy tore up The Shelter with a blistering set of Detroit-influenced techno. He's back for more of the same, supported by VOID boys Shanghai Ultra, Nat Alexander and MHP. RMB50

Saturday 27th March – Void present: Inigo Kennedy – China Tour
Line Up: Inigo Kenedy, Shanghai Ultra, Nat Alexander, MHP
Entrance: 50rmb
Last time round London's Inigo Kennedy mesmerized us all with a slick show of flawless DJing and a high energy vibe. Now he's coming back for a China tour and stopping off at Void Shanghai again, to celebrate his latest release, the China Rising E.P.
Inigo releases on one of the freshest labels on the scene - Belgiums Token records. In less than three years, the imprint has gone from zero to a label supported and played by the worlds top electronic music DJs such as Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills and Derrick May. Inigo's music features heavily on Token's runaway success and now Shanghai has another chance to hear what's hot in Europe's undeground clubs.
Inigo has been active on the techno scene since the mid nineties, releasing on well known labels such as Missile. He regularly plays all over Europe and recently headlined a night at the world's most notorious techno club, Berghain in Berlin. His edgy, frenetic style and seamless vinyl mixing devastates all dancefloors.
Also, before you do anything else, check out Inigo's own asymmetric label - www.asymmetric.co.uk. Download, completely for free, full high-quality MP3 releases of his more experimental and melodic material.
Inigo Kennedy is back in town....
