Five years ago at Thanksgiving I decide to go all out and have a ball with my cousin. Unfortunately, since we weren't of legal drinking age, we had to sneak four bottles of Veuve Cliquot out and drink them in my dad's car. It wasn't the proudest moment in my life when we passed out and woke up four hours later to witness our families on a manhunt for us, presuming we had gotten lost or been kidnapped. Adding to the misery were the champagne carpet stains we had to smell the entire three-hour ride home.

Thanksgiving 2004 ... university friends and I were far from home and hit about three different "student" Thanksgiving dinners, drinking a LOT of wine and champagne at each. In our already inebriated state we headed to the bars where we, thinking we were not already drunk, indulged in another bottle of bubbly which, incidentally, became my excuse for NOT dancing with several questionable characters. Course, don't remember much after leaving the bar apart from us trying to make makeshift poutine with crappy frozen fries, Kraft cheese singles and god knows what else ... night ended on the bathroom floor with a large bump on the head and a bruised ego.
