The Tolman Collection is the largest publisher of Japanese contemporary prints, and now is expanding its vision with its Shanghai branch. Showcasing innovative international Asian inspired art, Tolman hopes to also introduce dynamic new artists from Thailand, Vietnam and Korea.
It is a gallery that is concerned not only with those Japanese prints made just for their company, but moreover with Asian art in general. They are constantly on the alert for other artists in the area.
Further incentives are that they operate their business in English, Japanese, and Chinese and that their knowledgeable, friendly and charming staff are willing to exhibit, discuss and explain the unique works from Japan, China, and the general area that they offer in a professional non-aggressive manner which assures that my visit was a pleasure and also a wonderful experience.
