SMS Guanxi for: From 6-11pm, order any of the three course dinner sets at ARCH Bar & Café on Changshu Lu and get a free glass of wine. Offering Italian-influenced fare including a selection of finger-foods, pastas and Mediterranean salads in a sleek three-storey space, this spot has become a lunchtime staple. Be sure to bag a window seat for people-watching over the street below while munching on a hearty brunch and made-to-order juices.

Restaurant/ Cafe cum martini lounge in a 3 story chic building. Minimalist interior might recall a modern designer bar, but imported magazine's artfully placed bring it back to a chic coffee shop. ARCH is big in atmosphere. It’s your place to doodle or to chill out with friends. Changing lunch specials, chef specials, exclusive cocktail list, wine and beer promotions delightfully spice up the usual range of ingredients. Happy Hour Buy One Get One Martini happens daily starts at 4pm.

Maybe it was not my day... But my latte took forever and was served boiling hot, the brownie had no chocolate in it and the personnell tried to charge the price of a desert coffee set PLUS a latte. Never again. PS. Italian interior design magazines strategically placed everywhere bore me to death.

Very disappointing. Staff can barely understand English and food has turn from bad to worse. Don't think I am ever going back...

Excellent Friendly Service! Food was superb specially the Spaghetti Smoked Salmon.... cheese cake was excellent..Price is not bad either...Interior is nicely done over crowded by magazine but what heck!

That spot in the photo--that's the one you want to claim as the spot to linger over your eggwhite omelet and plow through the design mags.

Well,I have heard so many great things about this place. So I finally went there last Thursday. When I got there it was around fivish, so not many ppl were there yet. The atmosphere was good, very cozy, and the interior design was also good. Then, my friend ordered grilled chicken and I ordered salmon pasta. The grilled chicken was great, although little salty. My pasta was just OK, it isn’t the best past I had before. But then it turned out to be the worst pasta Ive ever had! There was HAIR on my pasta. Kinda long one but not too long so obviously it wasn’t mine..I know china isn’t the cleanest city but COME ON, this place is one of the most popular restaurants (as it is described in this website) for God’s sake. I just gave the dish away, feeling upset. The waitress brought me a cheese cake (which was however delicious, lol) , so it made feel little better, but I guess I am not going back there again..very disappointed…
Btw I went one at Changshulu
