This small coffeeshop offers up the normal range of cafe fare, but with an Italian twist. It's a cheap option for those looking to grab a quick meal or snack while making use of the free wifi.
Though it bills itself as a cafe, with coffee the lay of the land, this small eatery just off of Lin Ping Road in the Hong Kou District is definitely trying to double as an Italian restaurant. The menu features pizzas, sandwiches and pasta all at reasonable prices (nothing about YY30).
With reasonable prices comes hesitant expectations — Aroma Cafe could either be a gem of a restaurant or turn out to be just average. Unfortunately, the cafe falls into the latter category. There is nothing special about the pasta or pizza items. The only redeeming factor I can find in eating at Aroma is not wanting to shell out the roughly YY100 for Pizza Hut or Papa John's.
