This trendy restaurant's Visual Zone is a dim, atmospheric experience, but the main attraction is the Dark Zone: a completely dark dining area modeled after Paris' Dans La Noirs where blind waiters help to lead you to the tasty continental sets--great for blind dates.

Description -
Black Cafe offers dual dining experiences, the Dark Zone and the Visual Zone. Dark zone: orginated from Dans La Noirs, Paris, you will be served in a total dark dining area by blind waiters and waitresses to feel and experience a whole other world of sensory perceptions. Visual zone: A stylish lifestyle dining area where you can be filled with impactful design visually to create a greater contrast from the dark zone.

well cemily, it was great! it helps that im not afraid of the dark, but the execution was slick - the waiters make it easy to find your food, and the food (i had steak, my friend had chicken) was marvelous. toward the end of the meal i get used to feeling my way around and was able to sneak up behind my friend and terrify her with scary noises. and what more can you ask from a dinning experience. we were also interviewed by japanese tv! but i cant promise that for anyone else. its more or less impossible to avoid messy eating with your hands, so consider yourself warned if youre taking a particularly finicky date here.

Pretty good. Worth a visit if you are bored and want to try something new. Food was reliable - no real surprises in the dark.

I am sorry to say, but this has nothing to do with enjoy dinner with all your sences exept your eyes. It is more or less like having pricy average food in a cheap extremly noisy pitch black dark fast food chain eatery. The concept is a very nice idea, but the realization far away from exeptable. I will never go there again.

i'm scared of the dark, but curiosity may do me in one of these days. how did everyone else's experience go?
