Iiiit! is an "it" name circulating amongst the city's lunch circles. With three lunch-box sized locations around the city and an affordable menu of salads, smoothies, sandwiches and soup, seating gets tight around lunchtime. Try the chicken florentine panini and the Latin chicken salad on wheat.

Mini-review: iiiit! on Guangdong Lu
Visited this place yesterday for lunch. Turns out it is equally as good as the Yuyuan branch, but easier to find. Also, this branch actually has restaurant tables and chairs. Nice single-color-theme decoration too. It seems the owner actually does have quite good business skills, in spite of the bad choice of brand name. I wonder if this brand name is actually bad enough to kill off this excellent mini-chain of restaurants?
Training: The owner must have some professional F&B experience (in addition to being a very good chef). Each of the two outlets I visited was very well run with the staff nicely behaved (not jabbering loudly back and forth as if the customers did not exist) and the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen was top notch in both locations.
Delivery: good delivery but the pizza definitely suffers from the journey. If you are a picky eater (moi?!), you might want to order something other than pizza for delivery. I would also recommend you get the various sandwich sauces on the side the prevent mushification during delivery. By the way, the "aioli" sauces mentioned on the menu are basically mayonnaise with something added, i.e. basil or lemon or whatever.

To be completely honest, I stepped into iiiit! because of the wacky name, fanta paint and utilization of speech bubble in its signage. I'm such a sucker for striking advertising and bright colors. The prices were affordable for the standard expat, but for me - way too pricey. This was my once-a-fortnight treat.
The food and beverage range was extensive and impressive making me want to sample almost everything. But with my bad luck (or maybe just poor choice) I opted for a lunch combo that ended up quite uninspiring. The All Cheese Panini, comprising gruyere, mozzarella, cheddar, onions and whole grain mustard, was pretty bland considering it boasted three types of cheese. The mustard, onions and surprisingly even the bread, overpowered this one. The three cheese attack was supposed to be the major drawcard! Disappointing. The portion size was enough to fill me, but not a full-grown Western man with a hearty appetite. I washed the panini down with a Banana Apple Booster. I wanted to taste the Banana but all I could detect was ginger and a whole lotta brown sugar. I felt it kind of defeated the healthy smoothie purpose. Plus, after five minutes the apple juice separated itself from the heavy ingredients which sunk to the bottom. Perhaps I was just being punished for avoiding the healthy options. Next time I'll have the bruschetta.
I'll refrain from giving this one a rating, as the positive reaction from others is telling me I might've selected duds.

Why doesn't anyone talk about this place?! It's great! I just happened to walk in one day and after that, everything I've had there is delicious! Fav's are tuscany panini and chicken pesto pizza. yum...prices alot better than lots of places in town. 28 RMB for a sandwich!! ?!?!?!my new favorite place!
