Ginger took over the Vietnamese cuisine crew from Le Garcon Chinoise in August and opened a second place in Taikang Road (the fourth Ginger in total), just up the lane from Miss Ginger. Miss Ginger Inochine is a cozy, very 'Ginger' place with its signature design and ample outside seating. The Vietnamese and South East Asian food - as one can expect from Ginger - is divine, but you have got to bring time to enjoy.

The food was fantastic, service friendly & relaxed but the prices were ridiculous... more like Xintandi!! 68Rmb for a below average sized serving of Phad Thai Prawn Noodles with a total of 4 prawns of dubious freshness. 2 glasses of Spanish red wine, 4 dishes, 2 servings of rice; 321Rmb We were delighted to find Miss Ginger Indochine for the really great food....until we got the bill. It should be more like 150-200Rmb for two. That left a sour taste to what would have been an exceptionally enjoyable feast of original Vietnamese cuisine. We will return but only for an occasional treat rather than a regular haunt.
