The focus here is on eating healthy and organically-grown foods. That hasn't hampered their menu though--they still offers a wide range of dining options, including wraps, paninis, salads, curries and stir-frys. They have no storefront, so order delivery through Mealbay.

While it is refreshing to know that there are organic options here in Shanghai, Organic Kitchen is under the impression that because they do serve natural fare, they need not add flavor. Well, listen up Organic Kitchen: you are wrong.
Let us not forget; organic is not synonymous with flavorful. Sure, the vegetables used may be more healthful than in inorganic eateries, but does that mean you don’t have to offer tasty dressings? Does that mean you don't need to salt your dish? Does that mean your chicken needs to be so julienned it is unrecognizable as a protein? No, no, and no.

Robert's fitness salad is the best salad I have had in Shanghai. Excellent.
I don't understand how the prices of food at Organic Kitchen are the same as Element Fresh. Organic food normally costs much more. For a similar price I will definitely order from Organic Kitchen.

Good quality ingredients. When I ordered a salad from Organic Kitchen Shanghai the lettuce was green and fresh... a big difference from the normal green with brown patches that you normally get in Shanghai.

I'm glad that there is a restaurant that serves organic food in Shanghai. I feel good about eating organic meals. Sometimes it can be really scary in China when you think about how little regard for others' lives the farmers and producers can have.
The soup and pasta that I ordered tested good. I'd recommend it. And I was given a small free sample of chocolate cake :-). I just hope that Organic Kitchen will keep up the good quality.
Plus the Mealbay delivery fee was only 8rmb and they gave me a free drink. Good deal!

Yesterday, I ordered for the first time from Organic Kitchen Shanghai. I must say, the vegetables and chicken were very fresh. I could tell the difference between the organic and non-organic. Honestly, it was some of the freshest tasting food I have had since I moved to Shanghai. The quality of the ingredients reminds me of Whole Foods back in the US. Thumbs way up!

Organic Kitchen Shanghai delivers tasty and healthy prepared food made from fresh and natural organic ingredients. The diverse menu offers organic salads, sandwiches, soups, Asian dishes, pastas, desserts and fresh juices.
Most people in China are well aware of the excessive amount of toxic chemicals that Chinese farmers often use on their crops (in order to have bigger crop yields) and the effects of such things on our health. In 2009, Greenpeace did a study to test the amount of toxic pesticides present in fruits and vegetables in China. The results of the study are frightening!
At Organic Kitchen Shanghai, people can order food that is not filled with so many toxic chemicals or beef full of growth hormones or chicken over-injected with anti-biotics, etc. Organic food is natural and chemical-free. It is the way food is meant to be. And it is especially important to try to eat organic food in China.
Organic farming also helps the environment, as chemicals spray on non-organic farms seep into rivers and lakes and destroy the environment.
Organic Kitchen Shanghai currently is delivery only. Deliveries are though Mealbay delivery service.

What??? I can't understand why anyone in Shanghai would want to eat food that is not organic. Haven't you all heard how bad food that isn't organic in China is? These farmers spray chemicals on the crops like there is no tomorrow! The chemical pesticides are gradually killing us all. It makes me sleep badly at night. It certainly does not help my bowel movements. And one of my best friends says she thinks the chemicals in the food make her feel anxious all the time.
I've ordered from Organic Kitchen Shanghai several times. Frankly, I find it quite similar to Element Fresh. Even the taste and pricing are similar to me. But Organic Kitchen uses ORGANIC ingredients. That means that when you eat the vegetables or the meat, you don't have to be concerned how the chemicals designed to kill pests are also affecting you. If that's not worthwhile to preserve your health, then what is??
