This understated restaurant serves a selection of homemade French food in an environment reminiscent of a Montmartre Cafe. The waiters skip down the stairs and come back laden with platefuls of colorful southern French cuisine. The blue cheese walnut salad and beef tenderloin are highly recommended.

i 've already eaten at Des Lys four time in two weeks,so that should tell you something. The restaurant just located at a quiet place that where u feel cozy and comfortable when you sit on the table. And what i really like about the restaurant and the boss there is how nice he is when he comes to recommend the dish and wine personaly. Take for example my first course entitled Italian plate which include coppa, mozzarella, slow stewed color peper, And drink a glass of French red wine as well. All romantic feeling come out at the moment.

I have been there for 3 times, all with very pleasant experience. Delicious French food, nice environment, professional service, and the best one is the reasonable price....High recommondation

To eat at Des Lys make me think of old friends, There is full of guest smile pictures on the wall, Just drink a cup of coffee and it is a nice enjoy of teabreak in the afternoon. It is cozy and comfortable french flavor bistor in Shanghai.

This is a nice cosy place to enjoy bistro type food. Upstairs is a bit crowded so the few tables on ground floor is better. The food is good but not great. I don't feel the home cooking that such a place seemed to recreate. The prices are reasonable. This is not a compelling place to go.

Duck confit is good. Lamb chop special was excellent. Not sure how long this will last--but we downloaded the Monday free entrée coupon from their website and it saved us 98RMB. Also liked the half bottle of red wine but can't remember what it was called...

I went to des lys with my wife, but unfortunately the main course was cold... so.. when i asked the waitress to warm it (at least) she said that it was "normal".. well i don't think i 'll go back over there.. it wasn't that special...
