Cozy French bistro that dishes out homecooked specialites from the south of France. Reasonable prices, French menu, dinner specials, outdoor seating and a welcoming ambiance make this spot intimate and precious.

I visited once this restaurante once and the food was very good. Especially the dessert are best of the menu. I will highly recommend this place, if you want to enjoy a nice lunch during the weekend while listening french music.

Right now, you need one VIP card per person to eat at Saleya...so go on www.shanghaicoupon.com and print the coupon for the saleya, one ofr each person. Mention it at the entrance of the Saleya and it should be working for everybody....

The 2 last comments are really not true. Every Sunday I go there and never disapointed. We've got the VIP card and we don't need to show it, the waiter always gives us the 50%off. I heard they got good set lunch at 58RMB with a dish+a glass of wine. I highly recommend you to go there, the food is awesome and I am French!!!!

This place was good a couple of years ago, serving great southern french fare.
Unfortunately it's off our list after several bad experiences and an arrogant manager.

What I thought was a French restaurant, Saleya also serves up Italian, Spanish, food etc. Food is mediocre. Beef tartar topped with a potato wedge instead of an egg.
Service was spotty, just a staff of 3 for a full house of people. Used a discount card (valid for Sundays) and the waitress actually glared at us.

Nice cosy place, we really like it when we're 2 or 4... for lunch on the terrasse.... or diner near the bar inside... always good healthy food... free tapenade as startig is very welcome... wine list is interesting also.

Slightly confusing menu pricing, but otherwise a small, cute, comfortable french restaurant with bistro food. The food is good, a basic variety although not a huge selection...
I'd go back with a good friend, it seems like a great place to stay for awhile and have a long conversation with an old friend.

Been there last Sunday, cozy and comfortable atmosphere, nice terrace spot, friendly and funny waiter, nice service, delicious food and ok price. Will be back again thumb up
