promised to be cosy on a cold night, but disappointed when both soups arrived cold. Second try improved, but soup of the day was overly salty, and classic french onion lacked any depth of flavor. Greens in nicoise salad were aging, while the nicely presented duck breast on polenta, was small, and tough. For the price, you can find better.

tried it twice. food is bland and overpriced, service is slow and unattentive. basically it's just like being in france, so with that in mind the restaurant could be called a success.

Went for their RMB 138 brunch and had no complaints. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed.
The brunch contained a nice assortment of items, and was a great value at that price considering the amount of food we were presented with - you had better be hungry!
Service was attentitive and the both the wait staff and manager on duty stopped by during our meal to ask if everything was ok.
All in all, really can't find much to fault, although next time I'll most likely order off the menu to see how it compares. It's a good choice for a quiet and relaxing brunch.

I went for the Sun brunch at quarter past 2 and was told brunch was no longer served. That's entirely their prerogative but the least they can do is remove the "till 3pm" reference from their menu. I guess business is too good for them?

It's just the good place where you can have lunch or dinner with your family in the french concession, it is big and pretty nice with the right french touch!
When i go to cafe m, i take the delicious pancakes! ( salmon, or the one with the egg, so good). Or i'm having the "plat du jou", always different, kinda taste good. for the children you have a nice menu. my children love it, and for the price, i think it is correct.
