Named after renowned Italian architect Andrea Palladio (1508 1580), Palladio offers the finest Italian dining experience outside of Italy. The quality of the food centers round Chef Francesco Greco selection of the freshest ingredients, signature dishes and new offerings celebrating seasonal changes.Reflecting a blend of Italian and Ritz-Carlton traditions, guests will experience consistently high levels of personalized service by Restaurant team; ensuring each dining experience is warm, relaxed yet fun. In 2000, just two months after its opening, Palladio received The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences "Five Star Diamond Award;" setting the stage for the finest Italian dining experience outside of Italy. It has since gone on to win the award from 2001 till 2005. The restaurant has also been honored with Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards, "Best of Award of Excellence" (2006, 2005, 2004) and "Award of Excellence" (2003, 2002) for the most expansive wine selection in Shanghai. Additional awards include "Top Service Award" in the 2004 Zagat Shanghai Restaurant Survey and a recipient in the Shanghai Tatler Magazine’s "Best Restaurants’ Guide." In taking the restaurant to new heights, signature dishes are served to first and business class passengers flying Dragonair from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
