Hanano Japanese Restaurant is located on the 2nd level of Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel has elevated its entire approach to Japanese food and service, boldly positioning itself as the city’s premier choice for hi-end Japanese dining.
Japanese like light food, and freshness is the first important element. The restaurant transports produce by air every day to create tender and fresh assorted sashimi of sea bream, sea bass, salmon, yellow tail, tuna and cuttlefish. The tempura, teppanyaki and grilled food are among the many that grab the attention of taste buds.
Accompanying the great care paid to food preparation, Hanano’s kitchen and wait staff strive for the ultimate perfection in attentive and discreet service. Distinctively, boiled water for tea on guests’ tables is frequently replaced so as to maintain the right temperature within a very narrow range that is best for drinking.
Natural wood is the main theme of the new interior, which includes cherry wood flooring and wooden shoji screens that divide the hall into its tatami rooms and individual dining spaces. Unlike the typical shoji screens, the screens in Hanano have empty spaces between the wooden lattices so that air and light can pass through.
At the Sushi bar you can watch the skillful sushi chefs display their artistic culinary talents, while at the teppanyaki counter your chef will surely put a smile on your face as he works his magic right in front of your eyes.
Two elegant tatami rooms and three private dining rooms at the restaurant provide diners with an intimate dining ambiance.
Hanano opens daily for lunch from 11:30am to 14:00pm, and dinner from 17:30pm to 22:00pm. Unlimited choices for ‘eat-all-you-can’ serve during lunch and dinner time. Price only at RMB 198+15% per person.
