A pleasant, homey Thai eating experience. This cozy eatery, run by the folks that brought you Thai Food station, offers excellent green curry as well as exceptional Thai soups, spring rolls and salads of the homestyle Thai variety. The spicy pork shoulder salad is definitely worth a try.

This has been my favorite Thai kitchen in Shanghai since I arrived more than a year ago. Alyssa cooks up very homely style Thai dishes like pad Thai, green/red curry's that are sweet'n'spicy and yummy. Everyone I have taken there has come back for more!! Reasonable prices, cosy and friendly staff.

After reading about this place I decided to try it out. However I was totally disappointed.
The service was short of horrendous. The wait staff was totally ignorant. Serving wine was something alien to them. Did not even add water to the ice bucket to chill the wine.
The food was like a chop suey shop in America trying to pass of 'chop suey' as Chinese food. The Tom Yum goong was tasteless, the pandan chicken was bland and tough, the red curry duck was dry and for a restaurant claiming to be authentic Thai, the only vegetables they had was 'broccoli'.
This definitely ranks as my worst Thai food experience anywhere.
Give it a miss.

Cuisine Thailandaise a la Homestyle
Step into "Old Shanghai" while wandering down an enchanting lane of renovated houses on your way to a welcoming Thai homestyle restaurant. After climb a short set of steep stairs to the second floor, you'll get the feeling of being in a family dining room. The space is small and cozy emanating warmth via deep sienna painted walls and dark wood furniture. The menu is definitively Thai, a simple mix and match of sets, spring rolls, soups and salads. We chose two sets that included Thai prawn mushroom herb soup, both spicy and sour with succulent shrimp and a hint of tomato--unusual but appealing to the palate, along with the obligatory Pad Thai which was ordinary and tasteless, perhaps missing a bit of garlic. We also tried a green curry, the litmus test of any Thai restaurant. A winner, served with rice that looked homemade, combining all ingredients and Thai seasonings perfectly and accompanied by a pleasing lemony coconut-based prawn soup. Do try the spicy pork shoulder salad (YY40) that was pleasingly crispy and immersed in a sweet chili dressing. The desert of the day was refreshing as was Thai Jasmine Tea. This was a welcome homey Thai eating experience worth repeating. --Peggy Rosen
