Native Thai cuisine prevails at this restaurant. Chef Krisada's northern fare draws on 18 years of experience cooking Thai cuisine and features popular dishes including chiang mai style curry stir-fried seafood or pork sausage. If you're really feeling decadent, give the coconut curried crab a try.

A New Thai

You know you're in an authentic Thai restaurant when there are gold-framed portraits of Thai royalty on the walls and you're greeted by a charming chorus of "Sawatdee Kaa." After a lengthy debate over the menu's overwhelming selection while sipping complimentary sweet iced tea, we ordered the Chiang Mai Style Pork Sausage (YY40). Hand-made by the chef, it was deliciously spicy though a bit dry, a failing corrected when wrapped in the lettuce with cucumbers and other add-ons provided on the side. A rather average Pad Thai (YY40) with tasty fried shrimp and the Fried Rice Pineapple with Curry Powder (YY45) were generously portioned. The sweetness of the fried rice was a bit shocking at first but its combination of eggs, fresh crab, pineapple, peas and raisins and the resulting sweet and salty flavor ultimately made this our favorite dish and worth recommending to friends. -Irene Sun

the best thai restaurant i have (so far) tried in shanghai, and i have tried about 10. food is excellent, service is excellent, the owner is thai, prices are very reasonable and location is very near my house. obviously not as good as in bangkok, but pretty damn good for shanghainese standards.

Good authentic Thai food recommended by my Thai friend . Try Thai sausage , Tom Ka Gai (Coconut curry with loads of herbs) , and Tago (the dessert - - coconut milk with sago - - damn good!! ) pretty closed to Thai resto in BKK . Papaya salad is quite a disappointment though , should have been better as it's a popular dish in Thailand. But well , comparing to the other Thai restos , I think they are on of the top .
