Head to this Thai spot for tasty dishes like fried tofu with lemongrass and pepper, crispy prawns, crispy beef rips and long beans with garlic in soy sauce. They also offer plenty of drink options, including a solid list of wines and cocktails.
This is a warm and cozy restaurant in Jingan District. The restaurant offers modern Asian dishes which the food quality is good and the presentation is quite creative.
The restaurant features a vast selection of wines which match with the contemporary dishes it served. To me, I like their cocktails and special drinks the best!
There is a top floor dining room with patio. We had a Boxing Day party there, and it's really a great place for private party.
New Eats | N’More March 2009
If we had to sum up the dinner experience in two words, it would be consistent perfection. Everything from the dim lighting reflecting off taupe walls to the luxe Southeast Asian accents to the visually appealing and appetizing food to the attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff made our trip here well worth the Western prices.
This is a restaurant that is comfortable in its gourmet Southeast Asian concept. The menu is so concise, innovative and well-executed that we found ourselves making a mental list of what we’re going to order next time. The appetizers are the high points of the menu, starting with the spicy ribs on charcoal (¥58) marinated in a flavorful mix of Sichuan salt and five spice. After they’re cooked, the richly spiced bone marrow and fat juices are captured then mixed with honey and reduced into a wonderfully sticky barbecue sauce that’s slathered over the pork ribs.
Equally good are the crispy chopsticks (¥42), crispy, thin and long pork spring rolls with a magical lack of greasiness. They come served with a garlic vinegar sauce which enhances their simple beauty. The sweet coconut fragrance of the green beef curry (¥75) captivated our noses. It’s a creamy curry with fresh herbs, a nice level of spice and tender, chewy beef chunks. While the juicy and gamey lamb chops with Thai herbs (¥108) are tasty, we wish we’d skipped them and saved room for the tempting dessert options. But if the other dishes are any indication, they’re probably fantastic as well. Slurping down the remainder of our crisp and milk-free Thai iced teas (¥28), we ended the meal on a high and are excited to return.
