With a menu that includes a wide variety of Hunan and Sichuan dishes and a smattering of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant caters to both the local crowd and more adventurous diners. A modest selection of Pho undersells the restaurant's name, but deliciously strong and refreshing iced Vietnamese coffees are a saving grace.

Something for Everyone
This pleasant, clean and family-friendly restaurant serves a Chinese version of Vietnamese cuisine, offering an English-friendly menu which includes a wide variety of Hunan and Sichuan dishes (YY28-32) accompanied by a very limited selection of true Vietnamese dishes. The Vietnamese spring rolls with pork and shrimp (YY32) did not impress us with jiao size shrimp, thin slices of pork, carrots and total absence of mint. The Vietnamese Grilled Beef Rolls (YY38) and the House Special Sandwich (YY32) both left the undesirable taste of liver lingering in our mouths--not worth the try. True Pho choices were limited and other so-called Pho dishes were actually just other types of Vietnamese soups. The small version of The Adventurer's Choice Pho (YY32) was large and generous in toppings, though the broth was plain and only once we added the side of sprouts, basil, lime, fresh peppers and sauces did the flavors come to our taste buds. The Vietnamese Vermicelli Salad (YY32) with grilled lemongrass pork (or choose beef, chicken or Vietnamese pork sausage) was a better choice and would have been more authentic if they'd provided the requisite Spiracha instead of Guilin hot sauce. Nevertheless, we were very pleased with the ice Vietnamese coffee (YY26) which was strong and refreshing. Although it's not the best Pho in town, the service was courteous and the food was decent enough to satisfy our hunger.
