Contributor Description: Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art is a multi-functional and non-profit institution of culture and art, providing services to the development of Chinese contemporary art and a platform for the international exchange of contemporary art. It takes “originality, academic and internationalism” as its guideline, and “inheriting historical culture, renovating contemporary art” as its aim. Being the first professional modern museum of contemporary art in China, Duolun Museum of Modern Art seeks to exhibit the creative achievements of modern art, promote the culture and art exchange between China and foreign countries, go in for the academic research on contemporary art, popularize the education of modern art and thus to fulfill the five major functions of exhibition, research, education, collection and communication.

creazy: Zush Evru @ Doland Gallery The Zush/Evru is a virtual state which inspire people to create, it has quite a complete system of social, it got organs, people, totem, money, lifestyle, passport….

It’s a happy land and encouraging journey and it’s a nice experience that you don’t have to think a lot of what the artist try to tell.

The works is relaxing, sometimes childish. Magnify color and style of drawing or writing make the organs so attractive and you’ll never forget.

chsnow: I used a long time in taxi to go to this museum. On the outside the museum is try to look modern. Inside it is the 3 levels of the exhibition. The most recent exhibiting at Duolun is the foreigner artist. I think it is satisfaction exhibition not very enlightening exhibition.

You can try to see the Duolun Museum if you have more time and not very busy.
