Dada Description

Tucked away up a back alley behind the old Anar, this low-lit, graffiti scrawled bar gives us a reason to keep spending our nights on Xingfu Lu though its best-known neighbors are gone. Backed by one of the best party crews in Shanghai (Antidote) here you're sure to hear consistently interesting music and meet the city's in-the-know crowd.

xx

A good alternative place, good price, (ofen) good electronic music), people who go there to have fun rather than to show off...A bit small tho, but i like it!

Very cool!!! Just the type of bar I thought I won't find in SH. Good Dj's, interesting crowd, cold beers = great in my book!

Dada has a great vibe to go with its good bar selection. DJs are legit and the crowd is unpretentious. Dada recently joined the circuit as part of the Drunken Dragon Pub Crawl, proving it can handle a rowdy crowd of drunks with quality tunes and stiff drinks along side its staple crew of chilled out hipsters . Two thumbs up from the DD.

I really like their independent movie nights. Cool place to grab some drinks and watch some hard to find films. Too bad I missed the recent North Korean film night.

Can't believe no one has reviewed this place in 7 months! Easily my fave club in Shanghai. Logo is grotty and Anar totally inconsistent and Shelter too smoky. Dada hits all the right notes. Saw Dan Battle last Saturday, very fun set. Beyond that they put weird animation on the TVs and projector which is actually so much better than overly complicated VJ sets. Prices music people management everything work extremely well here,
