With a standard upscale-local crowd, this club is perfect for a night of people watching, drinking and head bopping in a slick atmosphere. Just be careful where you sit or you'll end up duking it out for seating with the table-guarding staff.

SKY=Discovery Channel+Crap Music+Racist Employees+Cheapest Alcohol. This place is awful. The 100 open bar is a scam, their strategy is make you pay the 100 bucks and piss you off as much as they can. The employees are extremely rude and racists against non-Asian faces. Too many couches with people sitting on them and think they are pieces of hot shit. The dance floor is ridiculously small and full of desperate "Hos" almost have "F**k me" written on their dresses. The drinks are mixed with the cheapest alcohol probably fake that would easily knock you out and give you the worst hang over the next day. Music is crap, the DJ just plays the pop shit all night.

This place will SPAM you to the grave. Then they'll spam the undertaker, too. No matter how many times you personally call them and ask them to stop sending you daily text messages about their lame events (and they promise they will take your name off the list), they will keep on sending you same phone messages even though you have absolutely no interest in their club.

Plus, their drinks taste like water.

Avoid this place like the plague.

Not my favorite club I've been to in Shanghai -- besides having the usual problems (too many damn tables, hard to find bathrooms etc.) I had some major issues with Sky.

First off, they have this truly bizarre staggered platform by the DJ booth -- it felt very high school theater production-ish. Basically it's like three giant wooden steps, and wouldn't you know? There's no semblance of banisters by the side or anything like that so you can pretty easily knock somebody off (which I was tempted to do early and often due to being with a large amount of females and there being a large amount of creepers...). I mean, the fall wouldn't be that bad, but I know it's gonna mess some drunken idiot up -- here's to partying like a lemming!

But yeah, Sky also sketched me out due to the presence of some young'uns. I know we're in China where basically anything goes when it comes to booze, but seriously, some of you looked 16 (my girlfriend asserts 14, and by the looks of the review by darkflame1o1, she was probably right). I implore you kiddos -- go play Halo or read Harry Potter or something else normal that I did when I was your age! You shouldn't be out and about, children... Sigh the loss of innocence so early...

Definitely a buzzkill.

In terms of the crowd that wasn't in high school, it was okay but definitely a meat market. So many guys hitting on anything that moved and plenty of doucebags at tables thinking they're the sh*t. Reminds me why I don't do clubs generally. Music wasn't awful -- your fairly standard hip hop and such but just not my scene, not really planning on going back.

PS. I didn't sign up for your weak sauce soapy foam bubbles to come down on me either. Kind of annoying.

Man, don't I sound like a big grouch? Sky just aggravated me, how sad.

Sky was great, mostly because of the people. The drinks were crap and it was way over crowded. My friend got thrown out for going upstairs without paying the 1000 RMB >< It's a great place to have fun, have a good time with friends but don't counting on staying too long if your 14 like me, one of your friends is bound to get drunk and do something stupid to get you all kicked out. Good times though I'd reccomend trying the place out.

I've been here a lot, because of my friends. For multiple occasions, for fun, for a friends birthday, and for something else which I don't remember.

First Impressions: Nice place, nice music, could have some fun here.

I remember the first time I was there, I got the Open Flow Bar wristband for 100 RMB, which was alright considering all the other Open Flow Bars are usually 120 and above for men. But that would be the last time I would ever make that same mistake. The open flow bar drinks we're bad, no, the we're beyond bad, all the spirits taste like cheap chinese liquors and shots are weak. If your looking for a good open flow bar, go somewhere else, like D.K.D. The drinks are so bad that I'm driving there every time, because I'm confident that I won't get drunk there.

Next problem, the music and the dancefloor. The music seems like the same iPod On-The-Go playlist every single night, I remember every night that I've been there , it was the same songs, which were songs like: I Gotta Feeling, I Know You Want Me, Hotel Room Service, which are good the first time, but after a few times? No. Then there's the dancefloor, which isn't a dancefloor, it's a tiny platform which isn't any bigger than your typical bedroom, and with the amount of people trying to squeeze in to find a girl, it's not great. It's so crowded that it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a girl. So if your looking for a dancefloor, keep looking, you won't find it here.

One more problem, the tables. You have to spend at least 1000 on drinks to book a table, and when you spend that much, you at least expect it to be a pretty nice table, but no, it was a tiny table that barley fits 5 people. Then the service. I left the waiter a 100 yuan tip, then later, he came back and asked me for a tip! I told him that I gave him a 100 yuan tip earlier, but he continued to pressure me to give him cash. I gave him another 50 and he still gave me a angry look. So if your looking for a table and service, try M2, cause SKY is the wrong answer.

Decent. I have been here on many occasions. Ferry Corsten was the only good time. No real dancefloor, same hiphop playlist everynight, horrible fake drinks (chinese vodka worth 16元) and rude staff. Also the fact that all the facilities are kept in a horrible condition and that there is no where to sit unless you drop 1500 on a table.

This place looks very posh but I would consider it more of a bar than a club. There isn't anywhere to dance because they place is filled with couches. When I asked where the dance floor was in the "Hip Hop Room" (which I assumed should have had a fairly good sized dance floor), I was directed to a small space in between four separate tables. Yes, if you want to sit around and bop your head to music, this is where it's at...

As far as Chinese nightclubs go, it wasn't too bad. The music was pretty good, drinks were strong, and they even had a pretty decent food menu! But the highlight of the evening was finding a table upstairs and sitting down, getting half way through our drinks and having a member of the staff say "It's reserved, can't sit here", when we pointed out the lack of signage on the table, he promptly found one and plonked it on the table in front of us. hehehehehe
