Whether you are new to parenthood or expecting another, come to this bimonthly support group to meet other mothers who are in your situation, share stories and chat. Each meeting features guest speakers covering a wide range of relevant topics. Meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Paulaner on Fenyang Lu.
Bumps & Babes has now grown into a full-fledged and independent portal dedicated to providing expat families in Shanghai with useful information about pregnancy and life with young kids in Shanghai. Bumps & Babes hosts monthly 'Talks' in Puxi & Pudong where guest speakers covering a wide range of relevant topics for pregnant women and parents are invited to speak and organizes events that encourage all the participants to exchange stories and develop friendships.
The Bumps & Babes portal includes an archive of most of the Bumps & Babes Talks hosted since early 2010 organized by categories; a resources section with useful information about family services available in Shanghai; "getting prepared" lists for new moms and growing babies; an experts section where parents can post their questions to a list of experts Bumps & Babes has identified and teamed up with in Shanghai; and a peer-to-peer community market --"B&B Barely Used Market"-- for the sale, rental and exchange of gently used baby equipment and toys.
