I agree with Gary this is a great store. I pick up five CDs here today (all BJ punk music) at very reasonable prices.
Just one little tip to help you find the store. The address is correct but it's unit 8 at no 300 not the 8th floor (the building is one story) don't stop at the shopping mall nearby or you'll never find it and miss out.

2046 is the only store in all of Shanghai where you can buy Chinese indie albums. The shop has a thorough supply of Modern Sky and Maybe Mars CDs, as well as all the latest DIY releases from Shanghai and other parts of China. Owner Gu Zhenyu can also provide recommendations to anyone new to Chinese rock.
