Description -
The former financial center of Asia circa 1920, the Bund is home to historic buildings of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Beaux-Arts, and Art Deco architecture. Contrast the historic buildings with the views of ultra-modern Pudong across the Huangpu river, and it makes for a fantastic glimpse of old and new Shanghai.

not sure why this is always listed as a tourist attraction in Shanghai. There is nothing here but a lot of banks in old buildings. You can't walk along the street and there is currently a ton of construction. You are better off going to the PuDong side of the HuangPu river and looking at the Bund from one of the cafes on that side or walking along it.
